Namaste. Welcome to 'Yoga's Finest'.
Lovingly furnished rooms and a soothing atmosphere invite you to keep your body healthy and strengthen your mind and soul.
With us you will find traditional aids from Iyengar yoga - straps, blocks, chairs, bolsters, shoulder plates, heartbench, setubandha, backbenders (large & small)... - as well as modern aids - eggs, webbing slings for free hanging, yoga sling... . - They are used to provide support in lessons. Our studio also has an area equipped with a 'Great Yoga Wall™' (unique in the Frankfurt area).
This versatility makes effective and individual yoga training possible for you.
At 'Yoga's Finest' I teach a free style of yoga in comfortable group sizes. This is based on the influences of my many years of practice - Hatha, Ashtanga, Iyengar and Kundalini Yoga. Newer directions such as Yin Yoga and Yoga Wall are also included. With the available aids, exercises can be designed both actively and passively. Asamas are prepared, taken, corrected and finally deepened in several steps.
My aim is to have a balanced yoga class with a focus on mobility, strengthening the muscles and stabilizing the joints as well as balancing relaxation.
'Traditional preservation and modern inclusion'
Spiral dynamics, fascia training, Five Concept™ ... are exciting methods whose exercises can definitely fit into a yoga class.
About me: Thorsten, born in '67
-Active in a sports club in my youth - athletics & karate, then martial arts / kickboxing
-over 10 years of intensive strength and endurance sports
In 2001 I started yoga in a VHS course. Since then I have been practicing yoga intensively in changing styles. In 2012 I completed a 2-year Hatha Yoga teacher training.
